Lee Scott, MD, FAAP

    Provider's Bio

    Dr. Scott was born and raised in Vicksburg, Mississippi. Although he received a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Harding College in Searcy, Arkansas, he returned to Mississippi for medical school and earned a Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Mississippi, Jackson in May, 1984. He then completed a Pediatric Residency program at the University of Mississippi Medical Center, also in Jackson, 1987.

    As a young pediatrician, Dr. Scott practiced medicine in Mississippi for the next six years, and then moved to Alabama where he joined a local pediatric practice, landing at Dothan Pediatric Clinic in May 1995. Currently, he is one of ten physicians who are Shareholders of the practice.

    Dr. Scott is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics. He is a proud member of the Alabama Academy of Pediatrics.

 

 

Nola Ernest, MD, FAAP

    Dr. Ernest was born in Lutcher, Louisiana. She is a magna cum laude graduate of Centenary College of Louisiana where she received a Bachelor of Science, Biochemistry. She earned her PhD in Neurobiology and Doctor of Medicine degrees from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. After completing a three-year Pediatric Residency program at Vanderbilt University and Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt, Dr. Ernest joined Southeast Alabama Rural Health Associates (SARHA), Troy in 2012.

    Dr. Ernest is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics as well as an active member of the AAP, Alabama Chapter, and the Medical Association of the State of Alabama.

    Dr. Ernest joined Enterprise Pediatric Clinic on June 1, 2016. She and her husband, Trent, live in Enterprise and have three children: Andon, Caden, and Jacob. Dr. Ernest enjoys reading, singing at her local church, and vacationing at the beach. When she is not at work, she can often be found cheering-on her sons in baseball, archery, and tennis.

 

 

Jacob Edwards, MD, FAAP

    Dr. Jacob Edwards was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Troy University in 2001. Dr. Edwards earned a Master of Public Health degree, Concentration in Epidemiology, from George Washington University School of Public Health, Washington DC in 2005, and his Doctor of Medicine degree from Morehouse School of Medicine, Atlanta, Georgia in 2009.

    In 2012, he completed a three-year Pediatric Residency program at Children’s National Medical Center, Washington, DC. After practicing in Enterprise and Tuscaloosa, Dr. Edwards made his way back to Enterprise to join Dothan Pediatric Healthcare Network in May 2017. Dr. Edwards lives in Enterprise and enjoys Crossift, traveling, the beach, and spending time with his dog, CoCo.

    He is a fellow of the Alabama Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics. He is also a member of the Medical Association of the State of Alabama and the Houston County Medical Society.

 

 

DeLancey Fowler, RN, MSN, CRNP

    Provider's Bio

    DeLancey Fowler, Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner, was born and raised in Dothan, Alabama. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing, from Troy University and Master of Science degree in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner, from Auburn University, Auburn, Alabama. During her studies, DeLancey worked as a Registered Nurse in the Medical Intensive Care unit at Flowers Hospital and as a Registered Nurse at Dothan Pediatric Clinic.

    DeLancey is licensed as a registered nurse by the Alabama Board of Nursing and certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She is authorized for Advanced Practice Nursing by the Alabama Board of Nursing and approved for Collaborative Practice with William R. Barron, Jr., MD.

    DeLancey lives in Dothan with her husband, Tate Fowler. She enjoys running, participating in her church’s praise band, and spending time at the beach.
